Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs at Milton Keynes Theatre (10 Dec to 8 Jan)
Comedy actress Lesley Joseph is reprising her starring role as The Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. On hand to offer legal advice will be favourite TV judge, Rob Rinder as The Man In The Mirror. Packed with traditional pantomime comedy, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs promises sensational special effects and plenty of festive magic.
Christmas at Gulliver’s Land (various dates)
Escape to Gulliver’s Land this Christmas for a festive family adventure with Elf mischief, fairy fun and snowy surprises guaranteed. Selected festive rides and attractions are open along with a Winter Wonderland light trail with illuminated installations.
Father Christmas at Milton Keynes Museum & Bletchley Park (various dates)
Famous for being in two places at the same time, the man in the red suit will be at Milton Keynes Museum for the first three weekends in December, and at Bletchley Park for various dates in December. Tickets must be booked in advance.
Christmas Fair, Delapre Abbey, Northampton (until 2 January)
The winter light trail here is now over a mile long and winds through the grounds and woodland of Delapre Abbey. There is also a great selection of independent food stalls, an alpine ski lodge bar and funfair rides.
Waddesdon Christmas Market and Winter Light Trail, Aylesbury (various dates)
Christmas at Waddesdon is back with magical lights, the gardens aglow and dazzling displays inside the house creating a Waddesdon-inspired Christmas fantasy for the first time since 2019. The bustling Christmas market, with its majestic Rothschild manor backdrop, is full of traditional wooden chalets and an array of local artisan gifts. Go with an appetite as there’s plenty of seasonal food and drink to dive into while you’re there and don’t miss the amazing light trail in the grounds.
Boughton House, Kettering, Christmas trees and gifts (until 18 December)
The magnificent Boughton House will mark their annual Christmas tree sale with a mini market. Local businesses will be selling festive gifts and treats alongside Boughton’s always beautiful selection of Christmas trees. Don’t leave without exploring the stunning Boughton House Gardens.
Brackley Christmas Carol Service (Sunday 18 December, 6pm)
Brackley Town Council is hosting a Christmas carol service on the market square in Brackley town centre under the lights of the many Christmas trees. Refreshments will be available and song sheets provided for everyone to join in the singing.
Christmas Tree Festival, St Lawrence Church Towcester (15 – 18 December)
Design, build or decorate your own tree to display, using it to advertise your school, business or just your own creative flare!
